1. SC Dolinski Weebly Site (Website)
This site has all four topics for grade 6 science with several links to resources, assignments, information, articles, and more.
2. Project Wet (Website + Book)
The entire ProjectWet book is full of numerous lesson plans and activities to help students learn about ecosystems, water uses, among many others. I have listed it separately because it can be adapted in many ways for all middle years grades and topics.
3. BrainPOP (Website)
This site has numerous lesson plans, activities, games, and videos for environmental issues in science. There are so many topics and activities to navigate that I have separated a few of them and listed specific lessons in specific grade topics.
4. Saskatchewan Environment Society (DCS) (PDF)
This document lists resources, ideas, and outcome connections for science units for middle years.
5. Saskatchewan Science Centre (PDF)
Saskatchewan Science Centre has several activities, field trips, etc. to help enrich students' understanding of Science. The document provided includes a list of programs through the Science Centre that would benefit students in all grades, categorized by the content taught in each program. Their website also includes a list of resources for their programs.
